A good rested body and mind is important to feel and look good as well. It is directly associated to the way your face looks, and even how you feel overall. During sleep, the body releases human growth hormones. This means that your body is producing collagen, which gives skin elasticity and strength. This helps in better regeneration of the skin cells which relax the wrinkles you may see around your face. Your skin gets the most relaxation and its deepest recovery happens while you’re asleep. So while you girls may be very busy with all sorts of college and office work, remember to get in at least 7 to 9 hours of undisturbed sleep a night.
