Breakfast Special: Banana-Oat Blended Smoothie

Here’s a breakfast recipe you just cannot ignore (unless, of course you hate bananas). It’s packed with good nutrients that your body should absorb right in the morning to give you the best of energy you’ll need throughout the day. Read on to add this simple one right in your recipe book:

You will need:

  1. 1.5 bananas
  2. 5 walnuts
  3. 2 teaspoons dark chocolate/cocoa powder
  4. 300 ml soy milk (or almond milk, or even regular milk)
  5. 1 scoop of vanilla flavored protein powder (optional)
  6. 1 whole raw egg (can be substituted with 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil, almond oil or coconut oil)
  7. a few ice cubes
  8. 1/2 a fistful of muesli

Method:

Put ingredients 1-5 into a blender and mix.

Add 6 , blend for 20 seconds more

Add 7, blend for 20 seconds

Add 8, blend for 5-10 seconds.

It’s the laziest recipe for the most power-packed breakfast. Take my words because its made to my list easiest morning recipes!
